Honeywell HFD-120-Q QuietClean Features and Specifications
Honeywell HFD-120-Q is a relatively large unit that thanks to its tower-like appearance doesn't require much space. Its physical dimensions are 10.4 x 9.65 x 28.74 inches (~26.4 x 24.5 x 73 cm) and it weighs 14.5 pounds (~6.6 kg).
When being placed on a flat surface, the unit is very stable. But, just in case, don't let the pets and kids play around it - if pushed with sufficient force, it may tip over.
In order to operate properly and improve air circulation, it is recommended to place the unit at least 1 meter away from the walls and other obstacles.
Honeywell HFD-120-Q features controls on top of the unit.
Controls are very simple since Honeywell HFD-120-Q doesn't come with remote control or WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity and it doesn't support the use of Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant.
Honeywell HFD-120-Q offers three air speeds - Low, Medium, and Max. Personally, set the unit to Low and let it operated 24/7.
Controls also include Oscillation On/Off control button and check/clean air filters indicator.
To help with the air flow, Honeywell HFD-120-Q QuietClean features a left-right oscillating mechanism that can be turned off. When the unit oscillates left-right, it mixes the air better, improving the overall quality of air in the room where the unit is positioned.
Another very interesting feature is permanent washable air filters - Honeywell HFD-120-Q QuietClean features a multilayer air filtration systems consisting of washable pre-filter, washable IFD air filters, and electronic ionizer.
Note: Although electronic ionizer does produce some ozone, ozone levels are far below the allowed ozone upper level. Also, although Honeywell HFD-120-Q QuietClean is very easy to use and maintain air purifier when it arrives, be sure to read the manual/Owner's Guide and get accustomed to your new air purifier.
Honeywell HFD-120-Q air purifier is able to capture 99% of 2 μm or larger particles - it is not a true HEPA/H13 air purifier, but nonetheless, it can help keep the air cleaner and easier to breathe.
Unit features CADR ratings for Dust 100, Smoke 110, and for Pollen 132 and is recommended for rooms up to 170 sq. ft. (~15.8 m2).
Air filters should be cleaned once a month or as needed - be sure to vacuum them thoroughly using a gentle dusting brush with the decreased suction.
Also, when the air filters get very dirty wash them using warm water with just a few drops of liquid soap. After rinsing with plain water, let the air filters dry thoroughly - assemble them back into the unit only when they are fully dry.

For Honeywell HFD-120-Q QuietClean and similar tower air purifiers, Honeywell also offers Honeywell HRF-K2 non-washable air pre-filter.
Honeywell HRF-K2 non-washable air pre-filter captures larger airborne particles and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), deodorizes the air, and reduces odors using potassium permanganate calcite.
Depending on the use, Honeywell HRF-K2 air pre-filters should be cleaned once a month and replaced every 3-4 months.
Long Story Short: Honeywell HFD-120-Q air purifier doesn't come with 'advanced' features like remote control, Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, voice control/prompts and similar, but that is for many users reason more for getting air purifier like this.
Although optional Honeywell HRF-K2 air pre-filters are not washable and should be replaced every 3-4 months, they are highly recommended.
