Dyson Flat Out Floor Tool features two sets of wheels: two large wheels clearly visible and two smaller ones below the cleaning head.
Also, the tool features two strips of soft 'padding' in front of and behind the suction inlet which is around 4.5 inches (~11.5 cm) wide. In order to increase the suction in front of the tool, the tool features two adjustments on both sides and suction channel along the entire width of the tool.

Such flat design enables the tool to reach under beds, sofas, and similar furniture. Also, edges of the tool can reach (mostly) under home appliances, but whole tool generally can't be used for cleaning under ovens, fridges, etc.
