The tool itself is 24 inches (~61 cm) long, it is flexible and bends easily up to 180° and it fits all canister vacuums and uprights with hoses accepting 1 1/4 inch (32 mm) inner diameter, friction-fit, attachments.

People having vacuums with different diameter should use plastic adapters. They are available online, they are cheap and sturdy and last for a long time – in most cases until they are lost or somebody steps on them …

Tool has three distinct parts, with only the middle section being made of rubber and being flexible. Such construction allows cleaning hard to reach areas like under or alongside furniture and appliances, dryer vents, heating ducts etc. Rest of the tool is made of hard plastic.

When bending the tool, middle section holds the rectangular shape well, but if it gets clogged, it collapses – in that case, stop vacuuming and unclog the crevice tool.

Weak spots of the tool are connections between sections – these parts are under stress when the tool is really bent. In most situations, where tool is just slightly bent, mechanical stress is rather limited and tool can last. However, if the tool is often bent by pressing the front part off the, for example, floor, tool can break on connection points.
