Shark Rocket DeluxePro HV321, Shark Rocket TruePet HV322, and Shark Rocket DeluxePro HV323 are ultra-light convertible upright vacuums, suitable for cleaning entire home and apartment from the floor to the ceiling. Although they don't come with the strongest motor on the market, thanks to the design and available attachments, their suction and air filtration is good and they clean various debris from different surfaces.

Shark Rocket HV321, HV322 and HV323 are powered with 500 W electric motor, providing plenty of suction in both upright/stick and handheld configuration.
Power cord is 30 feet (9.1m) long and provides great cleaning range for these vacuums. Due to the design limitations, these units don't feature automatic power cord rewind system - power cord is wrapped and stored around cable hooks.
Main cleaning head features removable brushroll with brushroll garage and strong LED headlights.
Brushroll enables the cleaning of various surfaces, including carpets and bare floors.
While main motor has no suction control, brushroll comes with 2 speed control settings.
Dirt cup is transparent, enabling the user to see amount and type of the dirt. When the dirt is 'almost full', it must be emptied, which is done quickly and easily - it is recommended to empty the unit after each vacuuming.
Mechanical air filters are washable - after washing the filters, let them air dry thoroughly (at least 24 hours) and only then return them into the unit. Be sure to never:
- use your unit with wet air filters,
- use your unit without air filters,
- vacuum wet dirt and liquids.
Although these vacuums are really easy to use, be sure to check the manual/instructions for exact procedures regarding use and maintenance.
Shark Rocket HV321, HV322 and HV323 Cleaning Attachments
Main difference between these units are in color and in available attachments. Lists of cleaning attachments vary over time, so be sure before purchase to check them.
Also, additional attachments can be purchased later, so if you miss some of them, that shouldn't be a big problem - especially with fast delivery in continental states.
Crevice Tool: crevice tool is designed for cleaning tight and narrow gaps, along the edges, in the corners and similar, hard-to-reach surfaces. Shark HV321 and HV322 models come with 12" (~30.5 cm) crevice tool, while Shark HV323 comes with 18" (~45.7 cm) crevice tool and flexible hose, greatly improving the cleaning capability of narrow and awkward spaces.
TruePet Mini Motorized Brush comes with HV323 and HV323 and is desirable cleaning accessories by people having household pets. Motorized brush is similar in design to the main cleaning brushroll - rotating brush penetrates into the fabric and pulls out dust, pollen, hair, fibers and other dirt and allergens, while strong air flow remove the dirt into the dirt bin.
Motorized brush is rather gentle to the surface, but on sensitive surfaces caution is recommended. Also, brush is not of 'tangle-free' design, so from time to time one must clean it from entangled hair and fibers.
Dusting Brush comes with all three models and is used both with wand and without the wand. As the brush bristles glide over the surface, they agitate dust (hence the name of this tool) and other small particles, which are then sucked into the unit.
Pet Multi Tool comes with all three models and is used for cleaning pet hair, lint, fibers and other debris. It is 'gentler' cleaning attachment than TruePet Mini Motorized Brush, so if you have both of these tools and have sensitive surfaces (bare or carpeted surfaces, upholstery etc.) first try with this tool.
Accessory Bag is used for storing cleaning attachments that are not used frequently.
On Board Accessories Clip is used for storing most frequently used cleaning tools onboard the unit. This enables the user to quickly change cleaning attachment and thus speeds up the cleaning task.
Dust Away Hard Floor Attachment is used for vacuuming and dusting hard floors, especially hardwood and other sensitive types of floors.
Microfiber washable pad is used for fine dusting, while larger debris are vacuumed directly into the vacuum. Dust Away Hard Floor Attachment in combination with microfiber pad helps the user to clean rather large area quickly.
Thanks to the lightweight design and swivel steering, unit is very maneuverable around the objects and obstacles on the floors. Due to the low design of the main cleaning head and LED headlights, cleaning under beds, sofas and other furniture is very easy. However, for cleaning under appliances, specialized 'under-appliance' tools are recommended/required.
Wall Mount Storage Hook simplifies storage of the unit. Although cordless units are better as emergency vacuums, Shark Rocket HV321/HV322/HV323 are light and small, and can be used even in emergencies - just plug in the unit before the use.
Long Story Short: Shark Rockets HV321, HV322 and HV323 are convertible and very versatile units that come at very reasonable price. They can be used as the main vacuum cleaner at (smaller) homes and apartments or as the second vacuum cleaner in large homes and apartments - some people use them as the main vacuum cleaner even for cleaning large areas, but if the floors are heavily soiled, dirt bin must be emptied at least once during single cleaning task.
But for smaller homes and apartments - highly recommended units.
