Hoover BH53350 ONEPWR Blade MAX Pet Features and Specifications

Hoover BH53350 ONEPWR is powered with a 20V MAX 5-cells lithium-ion battery, providing power fade-free operation of up to 45 minutes in ECO cleaning mode.

Hoover BH53350 comes with a single 4.0 Ah removable battery and if required, more batteries may be ordered.

onepwr 4 0 ah batteryNote: If you have more Hoover ONEPWR devices, keep in mind that these batteries are standard batteries for all Hoover ONEPWR units and are interchangeable.

When the unit arrives, the battery is semi-charged for safety reasons - before the very first use, be sure to read the manual thoroughly to get accustomed to your new vacuum and charge the battery. It takes around 3.5-4 hours to fully charged fully discharged battery.

The battery charge level indicator signals to the user the remaining battery charge, helping the user plan cleaning tasks ahead.

The battery charger is intelligent - when the battery is fully charged, the charging process stops. Also, the battery charger runs diagnostics and check the local temperature, so if there is some kind of problem, the charging process will not start/continue.

Note: Hoover ONEPWR batteries should be charged ONLY with the battery chargers intended for these batteries.

Hoover BH53350 comes with a 'High-Performance Digital Motor' which features thermal protection system - if the air flow through the unit is decreased, the motor's internal temperature may rise. If that happens, the thermal protection system power-offs the motor. In that case, turn off the unit, remove the battery, empty the dirt cup and check the unit for clogs and blockages. After cooling down for at least 30 minutes, the thermal protection system resets itself automatically and the unit may be used again. This and other maintenance procedures are written in much greater detail in the manual, so please read it.

Technically, Hoover BH53350 is a 2-in-1 cordless unit that converts quickly from the lightweight stick vacuum cleaner into a powerful handheld unit and back rather quickly.

As a stick vacuum cleaner, Hoover BH53350 weighs only 7 pounds (~3.2 kg), including a 1.27 pound (0.575 kg) 4.0 Ah battery.

It is not a stand-alone unit, but it comes with a wall mount that is used for storage.

Hoover BH53350 cleaner heads feature a swivel mechanism, making the unit rather maneuverable, being able to access and clean around and under most common household objects and obstacles, like sofas, beds, tables, furniture, walls, and similar.

low profile

Unit controls are on the handle and are easily accessible to the user, and they include:

- On/Off button: used for turning the unit On and Off,

- Carpet On/Off button: when the unit is turned On, the brushroll spins slowly which is a suitable setting for cleaning the bare floors. In order to clean carpets more thoroughly, turn On 'Carpet Mode' - brushroll spins at its maximum speed.

- Eco/Max Mode button: Eco mode prolongs operating time on the single battery charge, but for cleaning larger piles of dirt and similar messes, Max suction mode is recommended.

Also, the battery level indicator is located near the control buttons and is easily visible by the user.

Hoover BH53350 comes with two main cleaner heads, optimized for different cleaning tasks.

multi surface brushroll

Cleaner head with the multi-surface brushroll is intended for general cleaning tasks, including carpets, rugs, and even non-sensitive bare floors - when vacuuming bare floors, turn Off Carpet cleaning mode.

As the brushroll spins, it picks up various types of dirt and pulls out deeply embedded dirt from carpets, helping the unit clean more thoroughly.

Brushroll is of a rather convenient design - it does its job well, but it is not a maintenance-free tool and it is up to the user to clean tangled hair and lint from time to time.

The brushroll cover is transparent, allowing the user to see the brushroll condition and to clean it when required.

To help with the cleaning in low-light conditions, a multi-surface brushroll head comes with LED headlights.

microfiber hard floor

Microfiber brushroll is intended for vacuuming bare floors, including sensitive wooden floors.

Note: when vacuuming sensitive floors, it is good practice to test the surface sensitivity by vacuuming some small areas first. Also, whenever vacuuming such floors, keep in mind that sharp objects on the floor (even small pebbles and larger grains of sand) may leave marks and scratches - vacuum such area using 'Bare floor mode', just but be extra careful.

Microfiber brushroll also features LED headlights and is rather maneuverable.

Both floor cleaner heads are easily detached from the cleaning wand, allowing the user to clean elevated surfaces with the wand by attaching other cleaning tools or by removing the wand completely and attaching the cleaning tools directly to the handheld unit.

The air filtration system is based on Hoover's Dual Cyclonic DustVault Technology and the air filter and is able to capture 99.4% of 0.7 microns or larger particles.

The air filter is washable using plain running water, helping the user keep maintenance costs rather low. On average, the air filter should be replaced every 6 months.

Note: Hoover BH53350 is intended for dry dirt only. After washing the air filter, air dry it completely for 24 hours and only then return it to the unit. Never operate the unit without the air filter or with a wet/moist air filter.

The dirt cup is transparent, allowing the user to see the type and amount of vacuumed dirt. Its capacity is 0.6 liters and is large enough for most cleaning tasks. Due to the dirt cup capacity and the fact that it is easily emptied, empty it after each use.

features

Additional cleaning tools include:

- Upholstery tool is used for vacuuming upholstered surfaces, stairs, beds, sofas, and similar. It is a rather gentle cleaning tool and may be used for vacuuming sensitive areas, too.

- The crevice tool is a long and narrow cleaning tool, intended for vacuuming edges, corners, gaps, etc.

- Dusting brush is used for removing dust and other fine dirt from tables, bookshelves, car dashboards, etc. As the brushes agitate the surface dirt, dirt gets picked up by strong air flow into the dirt bin.

- Motorized pet tool features a small brushroll that picks up pet hair, lint, fibers, and other stubborn dirt from upholstery, stairs, car seats, pet beds, etc. A Motorized pet tool is an excellent cleaning tool, but sensitive surfaces should be vacuumed using the Upholstery tool. Also, from time to time, it is up to the user to remove tangled hair from the brushroll. Nonetheless, this tool is highly recommended not only to pet owners but to all people wanting to thoroughly clean smaller carpeted/upholstered surfaces.

Hoover BH53350 comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
