Eureka Blaze NES210 3-in-1 Swivel Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner

Eureka Blaze NES210 3-in-1 Swivel Lightweight Stick Vacuum Cleaner is convertible 3-in-1 corded, bagless vacuum cleaner. It is very affordable unit that can be used as corded lightweight stick vacuum cleaner, as stair vacuum and as handheld unit.

Thanks to the swivel steering it can easily reach and clean floors with many obstacles, like furniture, stairs, walls and similar. It is excellent second home vacuum cleaner, intended for quick cleanups and smaller messes.

Eureka Blaze NES210 Features and Specifications

The key feature of Eureka Blaze NES210 (black model, left on the picture) and NES215 (light blue model, right on the picture) is detachable handle that converts the unit from handheld into stick vacuum and back.

Also, main cleaning nozzle can be removed and the unit can be used with or without crevice tool, allowing it to clean rather awkward and hard to reach places.

Although very light unit, Eureka Blaze NES210 features a pair of non-scratch rubber-coated wheels and swivel mechanism, making it very maneuverable on the flat floors.

Main cleaning nozzle is designed to pick up both larger and smaller dirt and debris, commonly found at homes and offices. Main cleaning nozzle doesn't feature rotating brush, decreasing the unit's performance on medium- and high-pile carpets and thick area rugs - unit is designed for simplicity, affordable price and for cleaning hard floors and low-pile carpets and area rugs.

Cleaning path is 9.8 inches (~25 cm), allowing the user to clean larger area quickly, while still keeping the main cleaning nozzle not too wide.

Unit is powered with 2 Amps motor (~240 watts) which provides decent suction - suction is good for the unit in this price class and type, but it can't be compared with larger, more powerful and of course, more expensive units.

Dirt bin is relatively large, but it is recommended to empty is after each use - similar to any unit of this type.

Air filtration is good and is achieved using a pair of mechanical air filters, which are easy to maintain. Nonetheless, from time to time (depending on the vacuum's use), air filters should be replaced.

Note: unit is very easy to use and maintain, but just in case, before the first use, be sure to read the manual.

Power cord is wrapped around cord wrap hooks and easily released when required. Power cord is 18 feet (~5.5 m) long, allowing the user to clean messes even away from the nearest wall power socket.

3-in-1 Feature: Eureka Blaze NES210 has detachable handle, allowing the unit to be converted into:

- stick vacuum cleaner: both the handle and the main cleaning nozzle are attached, allowing the unit to be used as classic corded stick vacuum cleaner - intended for cleaning flat floor surfaces like low-pile carpets and hard floors.

- stair vacuum cleaner: handle is detached from the unit, allowing the main cleaning head to be easily used for cleaning stairs and similar surfaces.

- handheld vacuum cleaner: both the handle and the main cleaning nozzle are detached, allowing the unit to be used with or without crevice tool as relatively powerful, corded, handheld vacuum cleaner.

Note: a 2-in-1 crevice/dusting brush would be nice to have - who knows, maybe it will be available in the future.

Long Story Short: Eureka Blaze NES210/NES215 are cheap and thus very affordable units. They offer decent suction, good air filtration, low maintenance costs and in the end, they do their job.

Note: they are not intended for picking deeply embedded dirt and hair for thick area rugs and high-pile carpets. To clean such surfaces, one requires much stronger and more expensive vacuum cleaner.
