Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 is a group of 2-in-1 convertible, ultra-light cordless vacuums that are designed to be used as handheld/stick vacuum cleaners, intended for everyday cleaning and cleaning in emergencies.

Due to their dimensions, Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 vacuums are intended as a main vacuum cleaner in small homes and apartments, dorm rooms, and similar and as an excellent send vacuum cleaner in larger homes and apartments.

Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 Features and Specifications

The main difference between Shark WS620 and Shark WS632 is practically in their color - at the moment, these units come in 5 (five) different colors.

Shark WANDVAC System cordless vacuums feature physical dimensions of (L x W x H) 11.6 x 11.2 x 44 inches (~29.5 x 28.5 x 111.8 cm) and in cordless stick vacuum configuration, it weighs only 5.9 pounds (~2.7 kg), while the handheld unit itself weighs only 2.1 pounds (~0.95 kg).

Unit is powered power fade-free lithium 11.1V battery and rated at 225 Watts.

The battery requires some 3.5h to recharge fully. During use, runtime depends on the unit's configuration and suction level.

When turned ON, Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 automatically starts in the Standard Suction Mode, but for vacuuming tough messes and piles of dirt, the user may initiate the so-called Boost Suction Mode, which increase the suction but shorten the battery runtime.

On average, the battery on the Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 lasts between 8 and 17 minutes, which is enough for quick cleanups and regular cleaning tasks of smaller areas.

Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 is a very configurable unit consisting of the main cleaner head, wand and the handheld unit, allowing the user to vacuum with:

- stick vacuum cleaner (main cleaner head + wand + handheld unit),

- long reach handheld unit (wand + handheld unit),

- handheld unit.

The main cleaner head features a cleaning path of 8.35 inches (~21.2 cm), balancing between the cleaning of large areas relatively quickly and a lightweight and maneuverable cordless stick vacuum cleaner.

The main cleaner head comes with a brushroll featuring flexible silicone fins and self-cleaning technology, improving the cleaning on all surfaces and decreasing the maintenance tasks.

The main cleaner head does a very good job on both carpets and bare floors, but not as good as larger DuoClean PowerFins main cleaner heads found on larger, heavier, and more expensive Shark vacuums.

The main cleaner head doesn't feature LED headlights, which may come very useful when vacuuming in low-light conditions and for spotting the dirt on the bare floors.

Nonetheless, the main cleaner head does a surprisingly good job considering that it is attached to the wand and ultralight handheld unit.

Note: Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 is a self-standing unit, but not the most stable one. Also, the brushroll doesn't spin until the unit is reclined backward.

Shark WANDVAC System features a translucent dirt cup with the capacity of 0.13 quarts (~0.12 liters) and it must be emptied after each use.

The dirt cup features a one-touch emptying system, allowing the user to quickly and easily empty the dirt cup.

The air filtration system does a good job, but it is not a true HEPA air filtration system.

In order to keep the maintenance costs low, the air filters are washable using plain water, after which they must be air-dried fully before being assembled back into the unit.

Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 Charging

Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 features a battery LED indicator allowing the user to see the remaining battery charge when vacuuming and charge level when the battery is being charged.

In order to be recharged, the unit can be charged:

- in storage mode (stick vacuum mode),

- by charging the handheld unit,

- by removing the battery and charging it directly.

This last option is recommended for people having 2 or more batteries - one battery is fully charged and in the unit, while another battery (or batteries) is being charged.

Note: If You have two or more batteries, be sure to cycle them regularly.

Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 Cleaning Attachments

By default, Shark WS620/WS632 comes with the main cleaner head intended for floors and Duster Crevice Tool and Pet Multi-Tool.

Duster Crevice Tool is a 2-in-1 cleaning tool that combines dusting brush and crevice tool in a single cleaning tool.

Pet Multi-Tool is intended for vacuuming pet and human hair, lint, fibers, and similar tough dirt and debris from smaller carpets and even stairs, and from upholstered surfaces, including pet beds, sofas, furniture, etc.

Other tools, if required, may be ordered later. One of the more popular tools is the Self-Cleaning Mini Motorized Brush which features a small brushroll with silicon fins that deeply clean carpeted and upholstered surfaces.

Note: Self-Cleaning Mini Motorized Brush is a more "aggressive" cleaning tool, with the Pet Multi-Tool being recommended for more sensitive surfaces. Again, if needed, Self-Cleaning Mini Motorized Brush must be ordered separately.

How to Store Shark WS620/WS632?

Shark WANDVAC WS620/WS632 comes with a storage/charging station where the user may store and at the same time charge the Shark WS620/WS632 vacuum cleaner.

Since docking station doesn't require much space, it can be conveniently placed in some corner where it is out of the way, but also where it allows the user to quickly grab the unit and clean at the moment's notice - an excellent feature for the units intended to clean in emergencies.

Note: Shark WANDVAC System WS620/WS632 comes with a 5-year limited warranty. Also, although it is very simple to use and maintain vacuum cleaner when the unit arrives, be sure to thoroughly read the Owner's Guide/Manual, in order to get accustomed to your new cordless vacuum cleaner.

Long Story Short: Shark WS620/WS632 cordless vacuum cleaner is a rather versatile and convertible cleaning system that lacks LED headlights and a larger dirt cup. And perhaps a larger battery, especially for people who have the need to use the Boost Suction Mode more often.

But, it cleans surprisingly well with both the main cleaning head and the cleaning tools (Duster Crevice Tool, Pet Multi-Tool) that come by default - other cleaning tools may be ordered later if required.
